Santa Fe Public Schools seeks approval of J. Steven Baca payment

Santa Fe Public Schools paid former Ortiz Middle School Principal J. Steven Baca the agreed upon $86,000, but SFPS did not get permission from the Public Education Department to make the payment.

Kate Ferlic, Baca’s attorney, and the attorneys representing Santa Fe Public Schools filed a petition asking the “First Judicial District Court in Santa Fe to approve the agreement, a requirement under state law.”
