Ben Osborn is a litigator whose work includes civil rights, wrongful death, and labor and employment matters. He devotes his practice to improving his clients’ lives, delivering justice to New Mexicans, and serving his community.
Before joining Egolf + Ferlic + Martinez + Harwood, Ben served as a law clerk first at the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico for the Honorable James O. Browning, and then at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit for the Honorable James E. Graves, Jr. Ben currently teaches a writing course at the University of New Mexico School of Law. In law school, he graduated at the top of his class and served as Managing Editor of the New Mexico Law Review. He also received honors for his work in the Community Lawyering Clinic and published a law review article recommending changes to criminal procedure, which were soon adopted by the New Mexico Supreme Court, to better protect defendants’ constitutional rights.
